J&B Red Program (Art Portfolio)“Crafting An Extraordinary Art Portfolio” Highlights: The client worked with the J&B consulting team to create an art portfolio with a detailed cover letter and artist statements for each piece of artwork. The J&B team consulted with the client to address the client’s intentions, motivations, and overall goals surrounding their artwork. Throughout the project, the team worked closely with the client to fact-check their process and ensure that all relevant details were included in the completed art portfolio. The Topic:The client, a talented artist, worked with J&B to prepare an art portfolio and cover letter to supplement their resume, college applications, and artistic development. The Process:J&B worked in a two-person team to review and curate ten of the client’s outstanding works. The team consulted with the client to gather details about the intentions and motivations behind each work of art, which they then used to help the client prepare one-paragraph statements for each work of art. After finalizing the client’s statements, J&B worked with the client to prepare a two-page cover letter for their art portfolio that addressed the underlying themes in their artwork and captured their overall goals as an artist. At the end of the project, the team carefully edited and revised the statements and cover letter to create a polished art portfolio. Writing Style:As the client is a detailed, descriptive writer, J&B made sure that their voice was captured in their statements and cover letter. The consulting team also worked closely with the client to fact-check their artist statements, ensuring that all details such as the dimensions and dates of each artwork were included in the final art portfolio.
