J&B Brown Program (Dissertation)“Shopping to Stand Out: A Dissertation on Luxury Goods Consumption” Highlights: J&B worked with the client on an 1*,000-word dissertation conducting a cross-cultural comparative study on luxury goods and conspicuous consumption. The client was able to submit their dissertation to their professor early, allowing them to gather two rounds of preliminary feedback from their professor, which J&B incorporated into the client’s final draft. The team assisted the client with analyzing the data from their results section and incorporating active language and analyses into their dissertation to highlight the findings from their study. The Topic:J&B worked with the client on an 1*,000-word dissertation conducting a cross-cultural comparative study on luxury goods and conspicuous consumption. The Process:At the start of the project, J&B met with the client to brainstorm potential dissertation topics. As the client expressed interest in multiple ideas, the team prepared three potential paper proposals for the client to help them decide on a concrete topic. After the client selected a topic, they submitted their proposal to their professor for review. Once the team received the professor’s feedback on the client’s proposal, they helped the client prepare the introduction and literature review section of their dissertation. Next, J&B worked with the client on their methodology question, while also helping them come up with survey questions and a consent form they could share with the participants in their dissertation’s study. After receiving the data from the client’s two focus groups, the team assisted the client with the results, discussion, and conclusion sections of their dissertation. The client was able to submit their dissertation to their professor early, allowing them to gather two rounds of preliminary feedback from their professor. J&B received the professor’s feedback and helped the client incorporate the necessary changes into their final draft. At the end of the project, J&B and the client were satisfied with the complete dissertation. Writing Style:To help the client conduct a thorough literature review and discussion section, J&B worked closely with the client, providing them with relevant scholarly sources to build the research component of their dissertation. The team also assisted the client with analyzing the data from their results section and incorporating active language and analyses into their dissertation to highlight the findings from their study. J&B also worked on elaborating key ideas and theories throughout the client’s dissertation based on their professor’s feedback.
