J&B Blue Program (John Locke)“A John Locke Essay On The Future of AI” Highlights: J&B consulted with the client on a 1,*00-word essay for the John Locke Essay Competition addressing the Law prompt: “Suppose that you were contemplating, in violation of the rules of this competition, submitting an essay written for you by artificial intelligence. What would be the difference between such an act and ordinary attempted theft?” J&B broke the essay writing process down into manageable steps including: brainstorming, topic selection, a lecture, a reading period, a seminar, outlining stage, draft writing, and editing. To help the client explore the nuances of their topic, the team shared relevant scholarly articles with the client to expand their essay and helped them develop their counterclaim section to defend their thesis. As the client was deciding between four prompts, the team shared relevant articles with the client to make the selection process easier. Once the client chose their prompt, J&B shared a 40-minute lecture and 10 scholarly sources with the client to help them better understand their topic. After the client reviewed the sources, the team conducted a seminar session with the client to discuss three of the readings in further detail. To help the client write their first draft, J&B shared a detailed outline with the client. The client utilized J&B’s outline to prepare their first draft, which the team reviewed and returned to the client with edits. The client followed J&B’s guidance while writing their second draft, which the team polished and finalized for John Locke. Writing Style:The client is a concise, analytical writer highly interested in artificial intelligence. To help the client explore the nuances of their topic, the team shared relevant scholarly articles with the client to expand their essay and helped them develop their counterclaim section to defend their thesis. J&B also assisted the client with paraphrasing and citations throughout the draft writing process. At the end of the project, the client was satisfied with their final draft.
