J&B Blue Program (Scholastic Gold Medal)“Fighting for LGBTQA+ Teens: A Critical Essay for Scholastic” Highlights: J&B worked with the client on a 1,*50-word essay for Scholastic’s Critical Essay Category. J&B split the project into a brainstorming session, topic selection stage, outlining process, draft writing, and editing. To ensure that the client’s essay captured their interests, the team shared multiple sources related to psychology to help the client more deeply analyze their topic. The Result:Gold Medal The Process:At the start of the project, J&B met with the client to conduct a detailed brainstorming session. During the session, the client discussed topics and writing categories that interested them. J&B then shared three potential topics with the client based on the brainstorming session. Once the client selected their topic, the J&B team produced a detailed outline to help them write their first draft. After the client shared their first draft with J&B, the team edited and revised it, then returned it to the client with detailed suggestions. The client followed J&B’s guidance to write their second draft, which the team finalized and polished so that it would be ready for submission to Scholastic. J&B also edited the client’s 200-word summary of their essay which was required as part of the Scholastic submission process.
