J&B collaborated to construct a 10,800 word dissertation that discussed the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the luxury goods sector. After completing the project, the client was extremely satisfied with their dissertation. J&B worked in a three-person team and after evaluating the client’s original dissertation, devised a research plan and outline to guide the client throughout the process. J&B split the writing process into several steps, and at each step, J&B worked with the client’s feedback to suggest edits for each section. As the client independently conducted strong research, J&B highlighted their results section while rebuilding the areas the client needed the most help with—their introduction, literature review, and discussion. J&B was also attentive to the client’s chosen citation format and insights on the luxury goods market. The Topic:J&B collaborated with the client to revise a failed dissertation. The Process:J&B worked in a three-person team and began by reviewing the client’s original dissertation. At each step, J&B reviewed the client’s feedback and suggested edits for each section accordingly. Writing Style:As in their original draft, the client’s independent research received the best feedback from their professor, J&B retained the strengths of the client’s dissertation while improving on its weaknesses—this meant heavily developing its introduction, literature review, and discussion. As the client voiced that they wanted to utilize mostly contemporary, relevant sources in their dissertation, J&B was careful not to use any scholarly sources written before 2006. J&B also helped the client incorporate content goals, such as incorporating specific aspects of the productivity of the luxury goods market during the COVID-19 pandemic into the literature review and discussion. J&B also adhered to the client’s desired citation format.
