J&B Red Program (US-Undergraduate)Dreams of Working in the U.N. and Undergraduate Admissions Essays Highlights: J&B worked with the client to curate supplementary essays and two Common App essays for Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, University of Chicago, Swarthmore, Cornell, UCLA, Georgetown, UC Berkely, NYU, Tufts, Northwestern, University of Connecticut, SUNY, Elon University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Clemson. J&B worked collaboratively over Zoom and detailed notes exchanges to capture the client’s goals of studying international relations. The client had a strong academic background ranging from debate to political affairs, and J&B helped the client create targeted essays that met the unique requirements and expectations of each school. J&B worked on a three-person team with the client on a series of three-step projects, editing and revising content until the client was satisfied with their results. J&B also edited the client’s academic resume. At the end of the project, the client met all of their specific school requirements before their scheduled deadlines. Case:J&B worked with the client on an undergraduate admissions project, including a series of supplementary essays and two Common App essays. Background:Throughout the project, the client expressed a wide variety of interests, from political affairs, debate, and language acquisition to international gender discrimination, which J&B helped the client incorporate into their essays. Using intensive research, J&B tailored the client’s essays to meet the specific requirements and expectations of each school. With their ultimate goal of working in the United Nations, the client’s essays captured their ethos of diversity and appreciation for peer support systems necessary to form multilateral partnerships with others. The Process:J&B worked with a three-person team to break the client’s school list down into a series of three-step projects. Working collaboratively over Zoom, J&B shared and received feedback with the client throughout the process of editing and revising their essays. As the client emphasized the importance of detail-oriented, self-expressive narratives, J&B worked closely with the client’s notes to capture the key elements they hoped to convey in each essay. J&B worked back-and-forth with the client, revising a series of drafts until the client was satisfied with the final result. J&B also structured the client’s academic resume by incorporating the client’s background and experiences into a clear, concise format.
