Objectives: Review sample winning essays from essay contests 

                    Practice writing 1500-2000 word essays with actual prompts from contests 

                    Gain advanced essay writing skills needed to participate in essay contests

                       ✓ Can produce a successful 1500-2000 word essay 

                       ✓ Ready to enter essay contests and work with J&B on Blue Program 

                       ✓ Become a more independent writer in high school and college years 


Class Timeline: 

                       ✓ 45 mins. per lesson (10 mins. for instruction, 30 mins. for in-class writing, 5 mins. for discussion & questions)
